The Ultimate Goal - - Provide services that will help small businessmen/ Raising the level of quality awareness within the small business management teams Teaching business owners the true value of process control, continuous improvement and customer satisfaction Preparing small business owners for success by providing an understanding of quality concepts and management systems that will grow and develop their organization with proper implementation of established quality plans. Understanding that small business owners do not have the money nor do they have the time to implement quality systems and control processes within their organization, Opal services go beyond the usual training that most organization provide. Opal partners with the owners and team members. Opal representatives perform actual work that is associated with the enhancement of the system. This work includes but is not limited to: Creating procedures and supporting documentation including forms Coordinating with upper management to develop goals & objectives for the entire organization Developing monitoring and measurement processes that determine the level of performance to established goals and objectives. Identifying opportunities for improvement and coordinating with management to plan and implement corrective action Monitoring the organization for 90 days after enhancements are complete to ensure sustainability and implementing corrective actions as necessary Federal Stimulus funds are intended to keep monies within the local economy. Too often the small local business cannot qualify for these projects because they are unable to be bonded or do not have the documentation to prove that they have sustainable business systems. The only solution for a hiring agency or prime contractor is to hire from outside the local community. The QSM Program provides these small business owners and their management teams with the training and tools necessary to prove that they have developed and implemented documented processes.
