Sept. 9, 2009 - PRLog -- New York, NY – SuperiorGlacier, a premier litigation support provider, announces the addition of Sean McVey to its Computer Forensics and E-Discovery team. McVey joins SuperiorGlacier as a manager in its New York office. He has eight years of combined experience in the legal and technology arenas and brings a strong blend of e-discovery and computer forensics expertise to the company. In this role, McVey will provide advice on the planning of computer forensic acquisitions and e-discovery processing. He will perform forensic examinations and conduct in-depth investigations. He will also manage the day-to-day operations of the e-discovery processing team.

Before joining SuperiorGlacier, McVey worked for Stroz Friedberg as a digital forensics examiner where he conducted forensic acquisitions, examinations, and preservations of laptops, desktops, file and e-mail servers, backup tapes, cellular telephones, and removable media for civil litigations, criminal matters, internal investigations, and computer-incident response efforts. He has led large-scale collections on-site both domestically and abroad, including a long term investigation in South Korea.

McVey led an investigation of a computer break-in for a major retailer involving the theft of credit card and client information, determining that a past investigation by a third party missed key evidence.  He has worked as senior consultant at FTI Consulting Inc., where he assisted in a review overseas in a corrupt-practices investigation. He also has worked as a senior consultant at Navigant Consulting, Inc., where he conducted computer forensic analyses and consulted on electronic discovery projects in SEC investigations and intellectual property, trade secret, and financial cases.

McVey is an EnCase Certified Examiner, a Certified Data Recovery Professional, and has received training in the preservation and analysis of cell phones.
