Montana Farmers Union & Agri Energy to host regional Landowner Wind Development information sessions

The Montana Farmers Union (MFU) and Agri Energy LLC, a Montana based company, are pleased to announce the hosting of a series of information meetings regarding the development of landowner community wind projects.

Montana Farmers Union and Agri Energy LLC to host regional  
Landowner Community Wind Development information sessions across the State

GREAT FALLS, MT  – The Montana Farmers Union (MFU) and Agri Energy LLC, a Montana based company, are pleased to announce the hosting of a series of information meetings regarding the development of landowner community wind projects. In consideration of harvest, these meetings will be scheduled after harvest has been completed. Farmers & ranchers are urged to contact the Montana Farmers Union with their interest in having such an event in their area.

“We’ve experienced such a huge demand for information about available options that we have decided to hold community meetings across the state to ensure that our farmers and ranchers are making the best and most informed decisions regarding their wind resources,” said Chris Christiaens, legislative and project specialist for the MFU.      

“In addition to the statewide meetings, we will have wind workshops and an information booth available at our State Convention, which is October 16 & 17 in Great Falls,” added Christiaens.

Once again the Montana Farmers Union has engaged the services of Praxis Energy Group LLC.  “Praxis has been assisting us with our landowner driven wind development initiative from the very beginning and are doing a tremendous job of providing information and presenting the options available. Praxis understands the wind energy development business and fully appreciates the deep desire for our farmers and ranchers to be able to make informed decisions about wind energy developments that may serve as a legacy for generations to come,” said Christiaens.
