This adds an additional 700 free patterns to the previous list of 2,000 free patterns.
The Lion Brand Pattern Finder®, is an online tool that helps yarn crafters sort through the large online library of free patterns, to find exactly those that fit their needs. Consumers may search for a specific word or combination of words such as Homespun Baby Blanket, or they may use a series of other online tools to specify individual preferences for yarn, use, size, skill level and other features. Lion Brands' goal in offering free patterns is to inspire consumers to knit, crochet and craft with yarn by presenting a range of patterns that fit their needs. Knitting and crochet enthusiasts can use the free patterns to express their creativity by creating unique and personal gifts, creating a beautiful wardrobe and decorating their homes.
The Lion Brand creative team develops new hand knit, crochet and craft patterns by staying on top of fashion, home decorating and color trends, and by using data collected about customer preferences during years of offering patterns. During the 5 years that the pattern finder has been online, over 350 million patterns have been downloaded from the LionBrand.com website.
