WDSC TV Attends Womens Lifestyle Expo with Celebrity Functional Fitness Host, Suzanne Andrews

With The Women’s Lifestyle Summer Expo just weeks away, WDSC TV announces local celebrity Suzanne Andrews, host of Functional Fitness, will be available to sign autograph copies of her new DVD series including Functional Fitness for Arthritis, Diabetes, Better Balance, Pain Free Neck and Back and Fat Burning.  A portion of the DVD proceeds benefits the quality programming on your local PBS affiliate station; insuring continued broadcasting of quality shows such as Functional Fitness, the 1st Volusia television show to go national.  “We are really excited here at WDSC-TV,” said General Manager Bruce Dunn, “Functional Fitness promises to be the most innovative fitness series of our time.  With its focus on real life fitness for real life challenges, functional fitness revolutionary techniques promises to take fitness to a whole new level. Back on the television screen, PBS's newest fitness guru, Suzanne Andrews focused on the type of workout which fills the gap for people 40+.  “It’s taken me 25 years to become an over-night success but the really exciting thing is that my success is really our viewers health success,” the licensed occupational therapy practitioner said in the studio after the broadcast, “Viewers are calling the station to tell how they much they enjoy such a unique approach to working out, getting fit and making fitness fun. Notice how fun is the first part of functional."

Ms. Andrews is no stranger to injury.  She had to rehabilitate herself after dying on the operating table 3 years ago.  She was revived within 2 harrowing minutes of being permanently brain damaged.  Many years ago, General Manager Dunn knew her as a high-profile make-up artist to the stars including President Clinton and Geraldo Rivera.  He watched Suzanne Andrews make her come back. “She really does have something to offer everybody, if they’re willing to listen,” said the former professional football player. “Her advice and exercises just make sense – and we think it’s exciting that a national audience will soon be watching.”  Admission is Free.  DVD's will be available for 19.99 the day of the expo.
