Alt-country Singer Austin Allsup Touring Texas In Support Of New Album

May 7, 2009 - PRLog -- FORT WORTH, TEXAS – Ft. Worth native, Austin Allsup, will celebrate the release his new album, CRYIN' OUT LOUD, (Smith Entertainment; May 12, 2009), with a series of release parties across the Lone Star State.

CRYIN' OUT LOUD, co-produced by Allsup and Mike McClure, is transcendent journey through life’s endeavors, from bad relationships to the joys of fatherhood. Allsup has come up with a unique sound that encompasses the diverse styles of the musically fertile Southwest, with a genius for intelligent lyrics and wry humor.

Austin Allsup is the son of the legendary Tommy Allsup, who played lead guitar for Buddy Holly and the Crickets. Tommy taught Austin how to play guitar, and eventually Austin began to write his own music. In the past few years, Austin Allsup has played at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, OH; across Texas; and across the Midwest.
