New Perfect Stranger Album Hits Stores June 9

FORT WORH, TEXAS - The contemporary country band, Perfect Stranger, has continued to evolve since they originally formed in 1986. Their first big hit “You Have the Right to Remain Silent,” gained them wide recognition among country music fans in the early 90’s. On June 9th they will release their new album Shake the World, with Smith Entertainment.

Perfect Stranger - Formed by bassist Shayne Morrison and former band-mate Richard Rains, Perfect Stranger built a fan base playing in rodeos, honky-tonks and dive bars across Texas. Morrison (the last original member) has been joined by lead singer/guitarist, Marcus Eldridge (formerly of Walt Wilkins and the Mystiqueros,) along with Chad Ware (lead guitar), Clint Williams (lead vocals and guitar) and in 2008, drummer, Doug Martin. They have undergone a lot of changes since their early days, with new band members and record labels, but have come full circle with their new album.

Shake the World - The new album was recorded at the acclaimed Rosewood Studio in Tyler, Texas. Shake the World contains 10 tracks, collaborated by, and featuring the new Perfect Stranger’s signature, contemporary country sound. The first single off the album “Turn Around Point,” reflects the journey and emotions experienced when transitioning from one chapter in life to the next.  With duel lead guitars, and Marcus Eldridge singing lead, the new album sure to leave a lasting impression on the country music scene.
