New Playlists Service for Spotify Launches

March 3, 2009 - PRLog -- UK based ShareMyPlaylists.com will enable Spotify users to share their playlists and discover new music by listening to the playlists of others.

Spotify playlists are compilations of tracks that users can lovingly put together just like the “mixtapes” of yesteryear.  Anything goes, any style, any niche, any artist. The playlists could comprise music from a certain year that holds fond memories, maybe a collection of the latest R&B songs, or perhaps the user is a huge fan of Sinatra, Debussy, Madonna or Bloc Party and has compiled the definitive collection for that artist.  

A major benefit of this free service is that the playlists are searchable via the keywords contained in their descriptions.  To enhance the creativity factor, users are also invited to submit their own custom-made artwork for their playlist compilations.

The service already has plenty of playlists ready to be explored and as well as individuals, ShareMyPlaylists.com is challenging groups of friends, companies and organisations to start compiling together, and impress the world with their musical taste!  

ShareMyPlaylists.com accepts playlists from any country, is totally free and uses Spotify, the streaming music service, which enables users to access millions of free and legal music tracks.
