Links with Patagonia will be celebrated at a gourmet night to celebrate St. David’s Week in Swansea.
N.D. John wine merchants will be at the event at the Dylan Thomas Centre giving guests the chance to taste Patagonian wines during the course of the event.
Wales has had links with Patagonia for many years. Welsh settlers left for their new land due to increasing influences on their heritage so that they could continue to preserve their ancient culture and language.
The Welsh Gourmet Night will serve up four courses of the finest food using the finest Welsh ingredients.
Jonathan Player, Manager of the Dylan Thomas Centre said “The evening aims to celebrate all things Welsh in honour of our Patron Saint, it should appeal to all who enjoy delicious food prepared by an expert chef”.
Welsh Gourmet Night takes place on Wednesday 25 February at 8pm and is £30 a head. To book a table telephone the Dylan Thomas Centre 01792 463980.
