Proceeds from the event support the non-profit organization and their successful hands-on education and job skills training provided to a diverse group of individuals, particularly at-risk youths in the National Capital Region. The event also celebrates the additions of the Discovery Creek Children's Museum of Washington and City Kids, an organization providing outdoor adventures to qualifying children at little or no cost. This special event took place on Friday, October 24th on the Southeast Waterfront of Washington, DC. This is one of the many fundraising events gotügo has contributed to in the year 2008.
