How does a former winning (Championship) female jockey successfully switch careers to be an executive in a production company, which she founded, an Actress, and Fashionable? Just natural talent…? Yes, but when you ask her, her secret she simply says; “I love what I do.”

All you have to do is Google “CC Perkinson” to see the depth of her talents, her commitment to success,and the heights of accomplishments she has achieved in only the last few years, through hard work and dedication to her craft, to her life.

CC Perkinson was born in Texas and raised in the State of Washington. By the time she was in 7th grade she says she was inspired to be a jockey. “I can’t tell you where this came from, it truly was a pure inspiration.” She states.
   
Her professional racing career saw her ride Thoroughbreds in Florida, Colorado, Texas, Northern California, and internationally to Hong Kong as a professional jockey and trainer.

CC went on to win numerous races, accumulating over one half million dollars in purse money and achieving a success level that many male jockeys stronger and more experienced than her only hoped they could achieve.

Along with her racing career she became a professional, on camera commentator, producer and hostess. “I always had two passions.” she reflects, “Being a jockey and being an actress. I know I had to complete my riding career first. I am very proud and satisfied with what I accomplished. It was truly a dream come true.”

CC had another dream come true, she is the proud and dedicated mother to a beautiful 3 year old son named Jonah.

Now comes Hollywood. So what does horse racing have to do with Acting, Producing, Red Carpet and Fashion? Again, the answer is CC Perkinson, Talented, Beautiful, Passionate and Dedicated.

In the brief period since CC has been involved in “Show Business” she has developed a successful production company, CCVariety.tv, where she is the Producer and Hostess.

CC is a unique hostess. She actually enjoys her work. Although her heroine is Barbara Walters, CC possesses her own unique natural style. She puts people at ease not only with her enjoyable laughter, based out of having genuine fun, but in actually caring. She explains, “I like the creativity, the spontaneity, the bringing out the natural best in people and allowing them to get their message across. A professional on both sides of the camera, CC also has a rapidly expanding acting career. In addition to her already noteworthy presence on IMDB, Internet Movie Data Base, she has just finished a movie “Loved Ones”, is producing and starring in a comedy called “Cost of Living” and has already lined up another project in which she will associate direct and star in called “Zombie Kings”. Other directors have approached her for additional projects.

When I asked her why she got into acting she answered with satisfaction in her voice, “I enjoy creating. It’s exciting! I want to move people emotionally, make them feel life. I truly like the art and challenge of acting. To create a true character, to expand myself and become the character, to live the character, to have it be believable to myself and others, what a way to live.”

Ahhhh, but what about Fashion you now ask? The answer again, is CC Perkinson. Not only does she represent the designers professionally in her expert live camera coverage, but in her presence at major events wearing fashion designers such as BeBe, Colleen Eitzen, and Li Cari her beauty and poise stands out and the designers were never represented better.

CC enjoys wearing fashion that is individual, unique. She brings out the best in the designer’s passion in how she wears their clothes. “It’s romantic. It’s alive. It’s a privilege.” She tells me.

When asked what designers she would also like to wear she names a few of her other favorites. “I look forward to wearing the inspired designs of Lloyd Mason, Flora Cheung, Lloyd Klein, and Randolph Duke.

People have described her as intriguing, beguiling, sexy, hard working, driven, professional, compassionate, dedicated, creative, and talented…I think she’s a modern day Audrey Hepburn.
