Jim Trenton's "Poorman's Bikini Beach" finds a unique and exciting new Bikini Girl!

Aug. 19, 2008 - PRLog -- Having shared a marvelous variety of events, guests and bikini models for 9 years, host and entertainer Jim 'Poorman' Trenton, and his hit show "Poorman's Bikini Beach" looksforward to a delightful 10th year with a promise of even greater surprises. Knowing that sexy girls can only entertain so far, Jim will include humor and drama wwhere drama was created by rude skinheads and humor by Jim's inclusion of "Big Fat Jessica", ith his show... as epitomized by the season 9 finale "The Bikini Beach Home Run Derby", played by actor Michael Q. Schmidt.

Jim thought it would be a hoot to have 280 pound actor Schmidt dress up in a skimpy bikini bathing suit and take part in the June 19th taping of the Home Run Derby as the first batter. When the bikini girls were to begin their batting competition, Schmidt stomped to the plate like a cross-dressing Babe Ruth... swung the bat, connected, and began a jiggling run around the bases.  "The fans are propbaly still laughing," says Jim with a smile. "Beautiful sexy girls in bikinis can only give you so much if you aren't seeking an R or XX rating. The popularity of the season 9 finale allowed me to see that viewers can get a lot more for their money if I keep it funny and let them see some of the behind-the-scenes drama."  

This humor was mixed with drama as a rude 'skinhead' got in Jim's face about how his girlfriend had won the batting contest and how he wanted to paid her prize money "right that second". This fellow's intelligence was shared with the world when he was handed her check and he whined about it not being in cursive and demanded to see Jim's Identification. There were other moments of heat during the episode that will not be discussed here for legal reasons, but those who saw the episode will know them. "Viewer response for the season finale was incredible", says Trenton. "With the current popularity of reality shows, it makes sense to give viewers some good laughs and yet let them see what really goes on behind the cameras."  They will be seeing more of the fun and silly stuff and more of the back-scenes drama... as well as a continued parade of gorgeous women in bikinis. So, will "Big Fat Jessica" be back?  "Hell yes!" said Trenton. "Schmidt has a natural talent for comedy and isn't afraid to show it.... in a bikini or out. I'm planning future episodes where his participation will have viewers in stitches".

Known as the “Ebert and Roeper” of ‘beautiful girl’ events, “Poorman’s Bikini Beach” focuses not only on the beautiful girls, but also on the surrounding hoopla that is a part of every one of these events from the event itself to the wild antics of the Poorman, the celebrity attendees, and the freaks. At the conclusion of coverage, Poorman rates the event either a “Poor Thumb Up!” or a “Poor Thumb Down!” There are three events per show. A different beautiful model/actress in a bikini guest hosts each one of the shows and is interviewed by the Poorman. Says Trenton. "“I believe that my unique efforts will be continue to be the freshest thing to hit television and always be immensely popular with males 18-54".

Before his popular "Poorman's Bikini Beach", Jim 'Poorman' Trenton is remembered as the creator and original host of “Loveline” on KROQ-FM in Los Angeles. During his tenure of 10 years on the show, “Loveline” went from one day a week to five days a week and became #1 within one Arbitron Ratings Book. "Loveline" is now syndicated on radio across the United States. His additional radio experience includes stints at KIIS-FM, KPWR-FM, and STAR 98.7-FM, among other Los Angeles radio stations. He has also served as a television regular on KTTV’s top-rated morning show, Good Day L.A. and E! Entertainment Television.
