Psorphil is a Non-Profit SEC-registered Organization composed of people with psoriasis. We lead a national campaign to improve the living conditions of millions of Filipinos with Psoriasis.
Last August 18, 2007, we celebrated our 2nd anniversary at the Community Facility, Bonifacio Global City from 2pm onwards. Our celebration yielded the launching of Psoriasis Livelihood Network (PLANET) and National Psoriasis Conference (NPC2k7) with series of lectures conducted by some of the most respected medical practitioners in the country.
On August 16, 2008 around 2pm, we will be launching this year's information-
We will be asking popular celebrities to hug our members who will be wearing shirts that bear "HUG-ME…..I'M NOT Contagious" in the presence of media. We are looking for media partners who will help us spread the word that psoriasis is not contagious?
Meanwhile, here is a video we have developed for the campaign. We wish to show it on some cable channels and local stations who will agree to adopt it as a public service message. http://www.youtube.com/
Proceeds of the Hug ME Bears will fund some projects of the psorphil community including the livelihood program (Psoriasis Livelihood Assistance Network/PLANET)
