FishGillz Makes It's Debut On The QVC Shopping Network

Jeff Taylor, founder of FishGillz, got the idea for floating sunglasses after talking to several friends who lost their expensive sunglasses in the ocean. Over the years, Taylor had lost several pairs himself in the water, so he decided it was time to solve the problem.


Taylor went to work, set his idea in motion and formed FishGillz Sunglass Company in January of 2007. Less than eighteen months later, FishGillz grew to hundreds of dealers all over the United States and in seven different countries across the globe.

FishGillz uses a multi-layer, high impact lens, which includes a dual anti-reflective layer, a scratch resistant hard coat, a waterproof layer, and a polarized micro-filter that provides total protection for the user. The ultra-light frames float without the use of any straps, cords or pads which are typically awkward and restrict vision.
