Glenn is an avid photographer. His black and white shots are reminiscent of Ansel Adams but are alive with something “new”, “fresh”, not seen in a long while…and evoke a “pure” emotional response and are simply larger than life. We present to you Glenn Kavanagh Photographer and Musician, a man who blends music and art; who breathes life into photos: pieces and moments in time; who is simply, “PROFOUND”
“My goal is to create a picture that creates an emotional response when you see it.
I am constantly wrestling with my style as a photographer and coming up with new ideas so my work will more than likely morph and incorporate many styles over time… I tend to lean towards the simplicity of Black and White as I think it breaks down any subject into its basic components... I try to carry a camera with me wherever I go and I just look for interesting subjects. It can be a structure, a living thing, a scene, or anything that strikes me as visually interesting or that could be more interesting if looked at from a different point of view.
