Adelaide Einstein: A Novel by April L. Hamilton

Adelaide Einstein: A Novel by April L. Hamilton

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)Apr 13, 2008 – Adelaide Einstein, an independently-published comic novel by April L. Hamilton, continues its surprising rise up the bestseller ranks in Amazon’s Kindle store. The novel hit the #10 slot in Motherhood on March 25 of this year, and since that time has gained enough sales momentum to reach #3 today. Said Hamilton, "Even though Adelaide didn’t advance any further than the semifinal round in Amazon’s novel contest, it averaged 4.75 out of 5 stars across the 36 customer reviews it received. Based on that, and the fact that many reviewers specifically asked when the book would be published so they could buy it, I decided to publish it myself." Reviewer L. Guerrero gives the novel 5 out of 5 possible stars, saying, “Adelaide Einstein is a fabulous book filled with wonderfully believable characters.” In his 5-star review Garry Buck adds, “This is the sort of book that I didn't want to put down because I wanted to know how it ended, and was sad when it ended because I wanted it to go on forever.”

Adelaide Einstein’s popularity has now eclipsed Hamilton’s Kindle edition of Snow Ball, a dark comic mystery also independently published earlier this year, which has ranked as high as #5 in Amazon’s Kindle bestseller list under the heading of “Mystery”. Both novels were released in trade paperback edition at the end of February.

April L. Hamilton is a writer based in Southern California. Frustrated by the new business model of the highly-consolidated publishing industry, Hamilton has elected to publish her work independently. Hamilton is working to encourage an indie movement in authorship to match those of the music and film industries, by offering free, IndieAuthor how-to Guides at her author website (http://www.aprillhamilton.com), where free excerpts from her novels are also available.
