April 1, 2008 - PRLog -- Living Ubuntu and the San Diego Institute for Bioenergetic Analysis are offering an experiential workshop on “Breakthroughs in Stress and Trauma Relief: Using the Body to Heal”.  International Trauma & Stress Relief Expert Dr. David Berceli will guide participants through this proven body-oriented process for relieving anxiety, depression and mood swings, releasing chronic tension and resolving sleep issues including insomnia, chronic fatigue and nightmares. The two-day workshop, with a one-day option, will be held from 9am – 4pm on Saturday and Sunday, April 26-27, in Mission Valley.  The fees, which cover the non-profit group’s costs only, are $65 for one day and $110 for two days.  Registration and details are available at the website www.livingubuntu.org/events.

Living Ubuntu is presenting this workshop in response to the San Diego wildfires and the trauma and stress experienced by area residents and fire victims.  The trauma and stress reduction exercises taught help the body release tensions that restrict blood and energy flow and are a cause of depression, pain and tightness, sleep issues and a host of other physical and psychological ailments.  The methods taught are easy-to-learn and practice without the guidance of a therapist.

Seating is limited and CEUs are available for LMFTs and LCSWs.
