R. Nichols Introduces A New Line Of Stationery - Paquets

PRLog (Press Release) – Mar 10, 2008 – R. Nichols has created a new line of stationery that has a fresh look, simple packaging and a lower price point.  The new line is called Paquets.  Six designs launch the Paquets line – Hummingbird Thank You, Wedding Thank You, Baby Girl Thank You, Baby Boy Thank You, Girlie Girl and Scotties & Squirrel.  A set of 8 flat cards costs $12.00.

R. Nichols is traditionally known for his intricate scenes of people, dogs, parties, shopping, etc.  For the Paquets he took a different approach.  He used one element, a squirrel for instance, and created a design using that one element. The designs are repeated across the top and bottom of the cards.  The simplicity of these cards make the Paquets stand apart from the traditional black box stationery line by R. Nichols.

After repeated requests from customers, R. Nichols also decided to integrate thank you cards into the Paquet line. Four designs feature the words “Thank You” across the top of the card: Hummingbird, Wedding, Baby Girl and Baby Boy.  “I thought the Paquets were the perfect opportunity for me to introduce a traditional thank you card,” said designer R. Nichols.  “You should be able to have a stylish and sophisticated thank you card and I think I have created that at a reasonable price.  Good taste shouldn’t cost an arm and a leg.”
