T.A.P. reinvents the charity “wheel”

The concept is a win/win situation for all involved: when a customer orders merchandise from the site, 15% of the purchase price is donated to charity. This way, the customer donates by buying rather than just plain giving. The concept promises to put a fresh twist on donations where both parties can benefit. "People, for the most part, are hesitant to just give money when in reality; they don't know where that money goes or how it is spent. It can be an empty feeling. We want to fill that empty feeling with something that generous people can actually receive in return," said Lew Phillips, T.A.P. Co-founder. One particular slogan, Good Planets are Hard to Find, sums up the Green theme supported by T.A.P. "We can look at the smaller picture. People need help. Animals need help.
