When 13 year old Savannah Britt, now owner of Girlpez Fashion Inc., saw a vision she went for it. She thought that a magazine dedicated to teen girls only could help the world. She then went for the idea. Girlpez Fashion Inc. was founded in December of 2006. Since then, Girlpez has done numerous things to help make a difference. The main focus of Girlpez is to provide a high-quality magazine just for girls. The magazine is filled with fashion advice, world news, and celebrity happenings. The articles included in the magazine are sent in from girls around the world! Britt never thought the business would become so big.
Savannah says, "It's almost unreal. I sit and think some days. 'Wow this is not happening.'"
Not only is the business happening but it's becoming a successful business venture. Girlpez's online site has won many awards and has been featured on many search engines. Now what? The Girlpez Team, a collection of girls around the world with different cultural backgrounds, is working to make the November-December issue. Girlpez is having a photoshoot in October, which is a very anticipated event.
Watch out business owners! There's a girl coming through with a lot of ideas and visions!
