SAN JOSE, Calif. - April 3, 2024 - PRLog -- Boys & Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley (BGCSV), a nonprofit youth services group providing after-school voluntary activities for young people through clubhouses across the valley, is pleased to announce it has signed a lease moving its headquarters from Milpitas to downtown San Jose.

"The renewed energy around the current transformation of Downtown San Jose is positively electric," said BGCSV CEO Steve Wymer. "We're excited about this move and the ability to bring our own community activation to this vibrant neighborhood."

The 5,800 square foot office space on the upper floor of the two-story building at 15 West San Fernando Street, on the corner of West San Fernando Street and South First Street, will support thirty-five employees and contribute to the continued activation of the downtown core.

"Boys & Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley is doing amazing work here in the Bay Area.  SJDA is thrilled to welcome them to Downtown San Jose, and we look forward to collaborating with such a strong non-profit on projects that benefit the downtown communities," said Alex Stettinski, CEO of the San Jose Downtown Association.

Ritchie Commercial real estate brokers Pat Cisneros, Julie Mercik and Alexandra Stein arranged the leasing transaction. BGCSV plans to move into the new space at the beginning of April.
