CHARLOTTE, N.C. - May 7, 2024 - PRLog -- The HBCU Festival Weekend is set to deliver a once-in-a-lifetime experience to Charlotte, North Carolina, from May 29 to June 1, 2024. Hosted by the Celebrity Host CDK on The Mic, these festivities promises an unforgettable celebration of Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

More than just a gathering, the HBCU Festival Weekend offers an immersive experience designed to uplift the HBCU community through education, entertainment, and enrichment. Attendees will enjoy live entertainment, captivating keynote speeches, networking opportunities, leadership development sessions, recruitment initiatives, and much more.

Earlier this year, CDK was featured in Travel Noire (https://travelnoire.com/hbcu-cruise-reshaping-gen-z-travel) for the viral HBCU Cruise. Over 200 students gathered during spring break, and several students left with internship opportunities and lifelong connections. This is a true testament to the mission of The HBCU Tour and Six Star events and activities, which aim to enrich Gen-Z with equal opportunities in higher education and their careers.

Festivities will kick off with a HBCU Mixer on Wednesday May 29th then will lead into the "For The Culture Conference" held on Thursday, May 30, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at DoubleTree, located at 5624 Westpark Drive. The multi-component conference is designed to provide the HBCU undergraduate and alumni community of all majors with the latest information and trends in business, as well as the opportunity to network with like-minded professionals.

Powered by The HBCU Tour and Six Star, LLC, the creators of the HBCU Festival have forged strategic partnerships with industry leaders such as Red Bull and the SAB White House Initiative, ensuring an unparalleled experience for all participants.

"Attending an HBCU changed my life for the better, opening doors I never knew existed and connecting me with a community that became family," CDK said. "Now, it's my mission along with my brothers at Six Star Ent to inspire the next generation to experience the transformative power of higher education, especially at a historically Black college and university. This is an event you don't want to miss," CDK emphasized.
