SAVANNAH, Ga.March 7, 2024 – Internationally-acclaimed Author-Artist Aberjhani Joins Local Author Day Event in Savannah

(Savannah, Georgia, USA). Internationally-acclaimed author-artist Aberjhani is slated to join diverse writers in his hometown of Savannah, Georgia, on March 24, 2024, from 1-4 p.m. in the city's Lafayette Square for Local Author Day; and, in support of the Flannery O'Connor Childhood Home nonprofit organization.

For the event, the author will be signing copies of Dreams of the Immortal City Savannah (published in 2019 by Cyberwit.net) along with other recent titles. A limited selection of his popular works of art will also be available for sale.

"Local Author Day is hosted by The Book Lady Bookstore as a means to encourage literacy, support regional authors, and honor the literary legacy of one of Savannah's most celebrated authors," said Aberjhani. "O'Connor is also the title subject of my book Greeting Flannery O'Connor at the Back Door of My Mind. A selection of my artwork and poetry were also featured in the 2022 Flannery O'Connor Review."

Other titles on Savannah which the author-artist has either written, edited, or contributed to include: These Black and Blue Red Zone Days (2023), The American Poet Who Went Home Again (2008);  Literary Savannah travel anthology (contributor, 1998); Savannah Immortal City (editor, 2011), and Savannah: Brokers, Bankers, and Bay Lane (editor, 2012).

Despite the numerous titles focused on his hometown, Aberjhani is frequently identified primarily as the co-author of Encyclopedia of the Harlem Renaissance and editor of The Wisdom of W.E.B. Du Bois. His artwork can be found on Pixels.com and Fine Art American.com. He is also a member of the Savannah Art Association.
