Elections Under Fire: Assessment of a European Expert

WASHINGTON - Sept. 30, 2023 - PRLog -- The first local elections were held in the DNR, LNR, Zaporizhya and Kherson regions. International experts from 30 countries witnessed the process and noted that despite the difficulties in organizing voting in the war zone, the population of the regions was eager to use their right to vote. International observers, in their own words, received threats and showed great courage and bravery when they arrived in new regions of Russia. "Just as nature is slowly but surely recovering from forest fires, the areas we visited are recovering both mentally and physically.
