The H2O activist world leaves out many would-be activists. We can use the popular art of the Supehero genre - a kind of H2O Vox Populi, in an art form.

PITTSFIELD, Mass. - Sept. 27, 2022 - PRLog -- When it comes to water projects, Leslie Gabriel is already at work. He produces an H2O podcast/radio show called 'And So It Flows' at Pittsfield's WTBR-FM 89. The show is also podcasted via Apple, Google, Stitcher, and Amazon Audible.

Mr. Gabriel's newest H2O endeavor is 'The SuperWaterMan Art Project'

SuperWaterMan, billed as "The "World's New SuperHero for Water." is the subject of a recently published graphic novel, as well as,  being Mr. Gabriel's self-described alter ego which he created to spark public interest in what he calls "The Elixir Of Life".

"Let's face it, water needs a Superhero. SuperWaterMan looks to lend the powers of an action hero to help address the multiple water crises we face as a region, as a nation, and as a people of this planet. The SuperWaterMan Art Project uses popular art of the SuperHero genre - a kind of H2O Vox Populi, in an art form.," explained Mr. Gabriel.

"The SuperHero genre is needed to provide superpowers and break through the sense of overwhelm people feel when discussing the water issue. Whether it is PCB pollution in our Housatonic River, melting ice caps, water privatization, Flint, Michigan, or toxic algae blooms — we all know the H2O issue is daunting. That is why we need a Superhero," Mr. Gabriel pointedly observed.

"The superhero art genre can make a difference. Superheroes motivate and inspire action. I believe that somewhere down deep, everybody can relate to superheroes. In fact, I assert deep down we all want to be superheroes. It sounds a little crazy, but I wanted to do something that was outside the faucet," Mr. Gabriel added.

According to Mr. Gabriel, an avid superhero geek, "We need a new SuperHero that fights for water, not just in it. Water is not a prop. Water is the context, the content, and the reason. Aquaman simply had his fights in the water, he did not fight for water" Mr. Gabriel notes.
