Yours Humanly Break a Sweat for Education Run & Walk, Presented by Capital One Café

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Oct. 5, 2020 - PRLog -- It's time to lace up your sneakers and Break a Sweat for Education®. Funds raised by this popular family-friendly event support the local and global programs of Yours Humanly, a Northern California-based nonprofit that transforms the lives of children in need around the world by providing access to quality education and equitable resources.

This year, the 6th annual Yours Humanly run/walk fundraiser, presented by Capital One Café, is 100% virtual, being held October 18–October 31. This means that participants can run, walk, hike, or move in any way they'd like, any distance, anywhere in the world. More than an athletic event, Break a Sweat for Education is a fundraiser for education and a fun way for people to help children in need receive the education they deserve. No matter the distance or form of locomotion, supporters will be making a difference in the lives of children.

Proceeds will help Yours Humanly provide the distance learning technologies so desperately needed by underserved students who are currently learning remotely. And later, as teachers and students move through recovery and back to classrooms, financial support will help Yours Humanly create safe and productive school experiences for the children. This year, Yours Humanly has partnered with the Mt. Diablo Unified School District (MDUSD) Education Foundation and part of the proceeds will directly benefit MDUSD students.
