Old Red Bar B Q supports Strawberry Festival 2018

WEST CHESTER, Pa. - May 4, 2018 - PRLog -- Old Red BBQ from West Chester PA will be featuring a German Heritage Menu for the Brandywine Health Foundations Strawberry Festival 2018.  A fantastic menu of Bratwurst, Knackwurst, Smoked Kielbasa, Dutch Potato Salad, German Pickles, Authentic Spaetzle, and Pa Dutch Sauerkraut.  A new vendor to the festival, many will enjoy the true taste of a German themed meal.  All products are made in Pennsylvania, using some of the finest sausage makers in the Scranton Region.  B Michael Shanley, who grew up in the Pocono Mountains of PA, said" Hey, this is the best of the best, these butchers use the finest ingredients, no nitrates, and generation old recipes for these sausages."  This is one of the largest festivals in Chester county, many people look forward to the food and exciting games.


Admission is free and it is fun for kids of all ages.


About the Festival:

More than fifteen years ago, the Brandywine Health Foundation took over the Strawberry Festival and since then the festival has grown in size and stature and become a significant source of revenue for the foundation, allowing us to give back more to the community each and every year. Although Brandywine Hospital still hosts the Festival and generously donates over $10,000 of in-kind services, since 2001, the Strawberry Festival has benefited a variety of health and human service organizations in the community.

We are thrilled to announce that proceeds from the Strawberry Festival will be directed to the Coatesville Community.  Four local organizations:  Coatesville Area Public Library, Coatesville Rotary Club, Coatesville Youth Initiative and the Thorndale Volunteer Fire Company will receive funds raised from this event.
