MIAMI - May 3, 2018 - PRLog -- Saladino Design Studios has partnered with Food Network personality and James Beard Foundation's multiple award winning chef Marcus Samuelsson to design and create his famous RED ROOSTER restaurant from Harlem, NYC,  in Overtown, soon to be known again as the "Harlem of the South".  RED ROOSTER  opening early 2019, is located at 920 NW 2nd Avenue, Miami, FL  33136

Chef Marcus Samuelsson shares "I've been cooking in Miami for many years. "I've been asked many, many times to do something on the beach and other areas but Overtown spoke to my sensibilities." RED ROOSTER will celebrate the rebirth of Overtown's African-American culture to recreate the "Harlem of the South". Located in an area of dense history and culture, RED ROOSTER will be community driven, commemorating the birth, rise and fall of Overtown and how the restaurant can re-kindle a vibrant atmosphere that once was the "Little Broadway" of Colored Town. Inspired by Overtown's legacy, the restaurant will be a hot spot for the Soul Food of Southern Florida and the Performing and Visual Arts of a rich black culture. RED ROOSTER will also be a learning ground for the local children to be involved and aspire for greater futures, as well as a platform that celebrates local talent of several crafts.
