The First Year Journey In Recovery

When discussing the most rewarding part of working at Clearbrook, Robert said, "I feel that I have the unique opportunity to give back to the institution that saved my life." Robert considers both the patients and staff at Clearbrook to be an extended part of his family.

Robert was born and raised in Old Forge, Pennsylvania. He earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Pennsylvania State University. Robert is a Clearbrook Alumni that has returned to join our Clinical Team as a Primary Counselor. He remarks that the first year of his life in recovery was the hardest thing he has ever done, and that the gifts it has yielded him since continue to make it all worth it.
