Medication Adherence: Improving Patient Care

BREA, Calif. - Nov. 15, 2017 - PRLog -- PharMedQuest announces its new patient medication adherence program, Sync My Meds. Sync My Meds program is designed to help patients stay adherent and compliant to their medication regimen. The basis of the program is to have all of the patient's medications filled on the same day and coordinate their visit to the pharmacy with their medical visit. PharMedQuest partners with community Federally Qualified Health Center's (FQHC's) to create a One Stop Shop to help alleviate some inconveniences and trouble patients may experience when trying to receive medical care. SyncMyMeds medication adherence program took effect on November 1, 2017.

Studies have shown that 80% adherence is the threshold at which patients receive benefits from their chronic medications to improve health outcomes and reduce the risk of complications.  Medication adherence can also increase CMS star ratings of community clinics and improves communication with providers.
