Mississauga's Athletic Leaders Returns with their 2nd Annual Kettlebell Swings For Breast Cancer

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario - Oct. 7, 2016 - PRLog -- Fitness enthusiasts, breast cancer survivors, athletes, celebrities, community leaders, and the community are all invited to attend Mississauga's premiere athletic training facility, Athletic Leaders (3240 Semenyk Ct. Mississauga, ON) on Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm as they will be holding their 2^nd annual Kettlebell Swings For Breast Cancer Challenge fundraising event. The challenge is on to do 1000 swings in one hour per person, with each swing raising money for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. This event is free to attend but donations will be accepted at the door.

At the 1^st annual challenge in 2013, an astonishing total of 30,000 swings combined were completed in the hour which helped to raise a grand total of $5100.00. Following the event, Athletic Leaders hosted a cheque ceremony inside the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation's Ontario Region office headquartered in Toronto, which was received by their Director of Community Development. The donation was used for cause-related work, including breast cancer research grants, fellowships and community health grants.

Each participant in this challenge will receive a pledge form and will assist with raising donations. Athletic Leaders will also be selling pink themed "Swings For A Cure" kettlebell t-shirts which will increase the fundraising efforts. Pink ribbons and informational pamphlets which have been donated by the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation will be available during the event to bring awareness for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

"We are excited to beat our 30,000 swing record and increase it this year. We believe in doing everything possible to get our communities to embrace a healthy lifestyle, and we believe in giving back by helping people."- says Granville Mayers, owner of Athletic Leaders.
