Morrison Pump Company receives pump order for California's massive EchoWater Project

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. - May 11, 2016 - PRLog -- Morrison Pump Company has been awarded the order to supply four (4) Morrison Vertical Mixed Flow Pumps for the Nitrifying Sidestream Treatment (NST) Facility the EchoWater Project in Sacramento, California. The NST Project was awarded to Flatiron Construction Corp as part of the overall $2 billion Wastewater Recycling Project. Thre project owner is RegionalSan and the engineers are Carollo Engineers.

The new EchoWater Treatment Plant will improve water quality with a nearly 95% reduction in ammonia discharged to the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta. This will not only improve the fragile Delta ecosystem, but also provide cleaner water for those who draw drinking water from downstream, including millions of people in Southern California.

The four (4) Morrison VOM Model Pumps will be high efficiency, fixed speed, vertical mixed flow pumps with forged stainless steel impellers.  These Morrison Pumps will be environmentally-friendly oil lubricated pumps with mechanical seals, ensuring no oil/contaminants are passed to the environment.  Anticipated pump delivery is in first quarter of 2017.  Visit http://www.morrisonpump.com.
