ACTE announce wall mount antenna with 20 metre low loss cable for M2M applications

BASINGSTOKE, U.K. - April 28, 2016 - PRLog -- Designed to operate with cellular equipment, AO100-LL has been specially adapted where long cable runs are required to mount antennas in optimal signal areas. Usually standard antennas using RG58 cable are not designed to operate with long cable runs due to signal loss over the length of cable. This factor increases at high frequency. AO100-LL allows up to 20 metre runs to be achieved, with a signal loss over the length of cable, less than half of RG58.

With variants available, capable of operating on 4G, 3G and 2G cellular frequencies between 824MHz - 2.6GHz and with a VSWR rating of less than 2:1 across all bands, AO100-LL is an omni-directional, vertically polarised wall mount antenna, measuring 380x36x145mm including wall mount bracket.

Designed for the growing wireless M2M segment for industrial remote telemetry applications, the co-linear AO100-LL is fitted with LMR-195 cable, providing a low cost, easy to install and efficient solution to improving likelihood of cellular communication in poor coverage environments.

AO100-LL is designed for outdoor use and has many features to ensure years of reliable use. These include reinforced base mount for ABS tube and potted section around cable exit, preventing moisture ingress.
