DENVER - April 18, 2016 - PRLog -- GameWorks, the entertainment center with six venues across the US, just opened their seventh location at The Shops at Northfield Stapleton in Denver, Colorado. The 37,000 sq ft entertainment facility has over 160 video and prize dispensing games, a full restaurant and bar with seating for up to 175 guests and a private function area that can accommodate groups of up to 220 people. The new facility will be the third GameWorks venue to have an eSports lounge. This lounge will cater to the competitive online video gaming community by offering 32 professional-grade gaming computers along with 20 video game consoles. The Denver location was chosen to include the company's first laser tag arena built by arena designer, Creative Works.

Area Director, Darren Des Roches talked about offering a variety of attractions when asked about the Denver location being the first GameWorks to offer laser tag. "We were looking for a unique attraction that would complement the rest of our entertainment offering," said Des Roches. With this new laser tag arena being the company's first, GameWorks wanted a special arena that sets it apart from other laser tag attractions. The company wanted to wow their guest and asked Creative Works http://www.thewoweffect.com to construct a multi-level 4,000 sq ft arena. "We were looking for something very different from other operators to set ourselves apart and be a premier laser tag arena operator," said Des Roches.

GameWorks and the Creative Works team quickly went to work to design a custom theme for the arena. The team collaboratively developed a futuristic battle theme that brought in elements of space and organic environments. Up to 24 players equipped with Laser Force vests and phasers will face off in an alien battle arena. Leaving the safety of the military outpost is paramount as players have to seek each other out by venturing into the unknown alien world. So how did the arena turn out compared to the GameWorks vision? "The laser tag facility is awesome! From top to bottom, this is an exceptional attraction," exclaimed Des Roches. "It was amazing to work with the Creative Works team who took our thoughts, dreams and vision and turned them into art," added Des Roches.

Having been open for only several weeks since the grand opening on March 24, Darren Des Roches sees a lot of promise with the addition of the laser tag attraction. "We definitely expect increased traffic as this is an added attraction to our venue," commented Des Roches. He especially sees the laser tag attraction being the driving factor in birthday party and corporate team building packages. With one laser tag project under his belt, Des Roches is excited about other plans on the drawing board. "Creative Works brings imagination to life. From concept to the final product, Creative Works has delivered and exceeded our expectations. Our laser tag facility is a masterpiece!," added Des Roches.
