Follow on Google News | Author of Superwoman Smarts to Deliver Keynote at Tennessee Chamber Business ProgramThe Tennessee Chamber of Commerce & Industry invites women to attend an exciting workshop and luncheon to celebrate the strength and power of women in business.
Aundrea's passion is to help women grow their businesses and grow themselves personally, professionally and financially. Accordingly, she has created an online community, superwomansmarts.com, for women to meetup, share ideas and learn from each other; and she has written two books and developed digital products that women can use as resources. According to Aundrea, "I believe there are six things smart women always do. These things are not rocket science. They are simple things that we are all capable of doing if we choose to. Women can have what they want, if they are SMART about how they go about it." Aundrea's first book, STARTUP SAVVY, contains relatable real-world entrepreneurial stories combined with business advice to help women business owners optimize their small business success. Her second book, SUPERWOMAN SMARTS, illustrates how Aundrea and others have activated leadership potential and discovered abundant internal substance, so more women can do the same for themselves. Aundrea is the Senior Business Counselor of the Tennessee Small Business Development Center (TSBDC) at ETSU and Executive Director of the Kingsport Office of Small Business Development and Entrepreneurship (KOSBE) at the Kingsport Area Chamber of Commerce. She has provided technical assistance to over 2,000 individuals and businesses. She recently collaborated with 25 consultants affiliated with the U.S. Small Business Development Center (SBDC) program, to help write a new book, The TriStartâ„¢ Matrix, which is designed to help entrepreneurs master three critical phases for a successful business start. Networking begins at 10:30 AM; the program ends at 1:30 PM. The event will take place at Hermitage Golf Course (Pavillion) in Old Hickory, Tennessee (just outside of Nashville). The program will include a panel discussion on "Balancing Leadership and Life" including: Amy Bunton, Senior Vice President, Pathway Lending; Mendy Mazzo, Vice President of Business Development, Skanska; Dr. Sheri Meghreblian, Deputy Commissioner, Tennessee Department of Environment & Conservation; The Tennessee Chamber is also gathering items in support of the Safe Haven Family Shelter, and encourage attendees to bring any of the following necessities to the event: cleaning products and supplies such as Windex, Comet, Pine Sol, brooms, Lysol, bleach, dishwashing tablets, plastic gloves, paper products including napkins, plates, cups, toilet paper and paper towels. These items will be used by families in the shelter program, or as they move into transitional and permanent housing.
