New Wellness Model Launches in New York

Improv(e)™ – FUNdamentals for Mindful Wellbeing, a wellness method developed by lifestyle and communications expert Caryn Chow, is making its intro at Tournesol Wellness Center on March 7, 2016.

NEW YORK - Feb. 16, 2016 - PRLog -- Originally designed for corporate officials and their employees as a means of fostering leadership and improved interpersonal communication, Improv(e)™ is effective for anyone who wants to live a more happy and fulfilling life. Improv(e)™ borrows from improvisational acting and holistic communications to form a model grounded in the magic gift of mindfulness.

“We improvise every day whether we are navigating the course of a situation or at home cooking from scratch.  Actors consciously improvise all the time; it is part of honing their craft.  Improv, however, also has a place in wellbeing.  When we Improv(e)™ we invite inner peace, present moment dwelling, and learn to be mindful towards others’ feelings and space as we remain authentic to our own essence and space.  Unlike ‘thinking on our feet’ (as in stage acting or self-defense), the healing art of Improv(e)™ engages the spiritual self through sensory stimulation.”

Some benefits of Improv(e)™ include enhanced interpersonal communications and social skills, greater overall awareness, proactive response vs. reactive response, relaxed state of mind, reduced stress, mind/body/spirit alignment, happier  relationships, increased creative flow, and improved job performance.

Classes will be offered monthly.  Please visit www.tournesolwellness.com for scheduling.
