8th Annual Troop Induction Ceremonies

By: Department of Colorado American Legion

DENVER - Jan. 14, 2016 - PRLog -- The American Legion will sponsor our 8th Annual Troop Induction Ceremony, in which 100 area young American patriots will be sworn into the U.S. Army. Over the previous 7 years there have been nearly a 1,000 who have raised their right hand and swore to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America against all enemies, both foreign and domestic.

This year, the very first female candidate for the officer of national commander, of The American Legion, Denise Rohan, will be attending the event and speaking to the inductees.

This is indeed a heartwarming event as veterans from previous wars watch the youth of today taking the same oath they took so many years ago!

The event is planned by the U.S. Army, Denver Recruiting Command and The American Legion, Department of Colorado, as part of the Department’s annual Mid-Year Conference, being held in Longmont Colorado, beginning on Friday, January 22, 2016.

The event will take place at the Best Western Plus, Conference and Event Center, located at 1900 Ken Pratt Blvd, Longmont, Colorado, need guess to be seated by 5:30 pm, Friday evening.
