Snell & Wilmer Partner Named to the Board of Trustees of the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce

LAS VEGAS - Jan. 12, 2016 - PRLog -- Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that John S. Delikanakis, a commercial litigation partner in the firm’s Las Vegas office, has been elected to the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Trustees. Delikanakis will represent the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance, for which he serves as vice chairman.

The Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce (the “Chamber”) is the largest business organization in Nevada. Founded in the early days of Las Vegas, the Chamber has a strong legacy of protecting and strengthening the Southern Nevada business community, helping its member businesses grow and thrive and providing a voice for those businesses in local, state and federal government. The Chamber has thousands of member businesses from nearly every industry, representing more than 200,000 people.

At Snell & Wilmer, Delikanakis practices in the commercial litigation group. He focuses his practice in complex business litigation, appellate law, real estate law and international law. A former associate general counsel for a Fortune 500 company, his experience ranges from counseling senior management on day-to-day operational issues to litigating both simple and complex cases at the district court and appellate levels. He presently sits on Snell & Wilmer’s E-Discovery Committee.

Delikanakis is very active in the community. He currently serves on the advisory boards of The Modern Contemporary Art Museum and The Salvation Army. From 2003 to 2006, Delikanakis served on the Board of Governors of the Clark County Bar Association. He is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell and was recently named to Nevada Business Magazine’s Legal Elite as one of the top 100 Southern Nevada attorneys. He received his A.B. from Vassar College and his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law.
