New York, New York – December, 2015 – Distracted driving is the #1 killer of teens in America.  This Holiday Season, the Texting Awareness Foundation (TAF), a national non-profit dedicated to educating the public about the risks of distracted driving, is raising awareness about the dangers of texting and driving.  The organization is warning shoppers not to text while shopping.

Shopping is all consuming and the desire to check, by texting, with co-workers, friends and family members about gifts, sizes, colors, etc.., is an enormous distraction. This texting distraction while driving can cause you and others their lives.  This texting distraction while walking will make you unaware of your surroundings and a prime target for theft or injury.
