Former Green Beret & Texas Longhorns Long Snapper Nate Boyer signs with The Friendly Coffee Company

NAPPANEE, Ind. - Dec. 3, 2015 - PRLog -- ) – The Friendly Coffee Company’s latest addition is former Green Beret and Texas Longhorns long snapper, Nate Boyer.

Nate Boyer’s journey has been one of tenacity, perseverance, and compassion. After joining the Army in 2005, Boyer earned his Green Beret in December of 2006 and honorably served until 2015. In 2010, he walked onto the Texas Longhorns football team as a Safety until becoming the Starting Long Snapper from 2012 to 2014. After parting ways from the University of Texas, Boyer then began to train for the NFL at Unbreakable Performance Center in Los Angeles. Many are familiar with Boyer’s pursuit of making the roster for the Seattle Seahawks this past summer.   Although Boyer did not make the roster, he made a lasting impression on all those he encountered and has utilized his presence for good in support The Waterboys, amongst other efforts. A portion of proceeds from his Signature Roast, Joe The Great (available for pre-order at http://www.thefriendlycoffeecompany.com/product/joe-the-great-roast/), will go toward fighting the war on Homeless Veterans within the US.

Now, Boyer’s has his own brand of coffee as well. The Friendly Coffee Company’s newest creation is Joe The Great Roast, the former Green Beret and Longhonrn’s Signature Coffee. Joe The Great Roast is a masterfully roasted Brazilian Cerrado dark roast.
