BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Nov. 23, 2015 - PRLog -- “I don't think I have to tell anyone that this is the toughest time of year for weight-conscious people,” says Dr. Eric Rodriguez of Lehigh Valley Fat Loss. “It's tough even for people who aren't fighting a constant battle of the bulge. But for those who are, it can be a several-month gauntlet of temptation and guilt.”

Dr. Rodriguez know of what he speaks. He founded Lehigh Valley Fat Loss after spending years fighting his own battle to look and feel great. After being let down by several top diets and fitness programs, he discovered that digital science had finally provided an answer to the tricky riddle of permanent fat loss. Resonant Frequency Technology, or NRF, uses the same galvanic skin-response technology underlying the polygraph (lie detector) to get the body to “confess” its biological wants and needs. Using NRF Technology, Dr. Rodriguez takes a “hormonal fingerprint” to determine the personalized balance of foods and nutrients each client must employ to bring his or her body into an optimal state of fat burning and overall health.

Since opening his doors at around this time in 2014, Lehigh Valley Fat Loss has helped area clients lose well over two tons of fat.

Dr. Rodriguez's advice begins with the proper mindset. “Don't feel discouraged if you're going into the holidays having just failed to lose weight on one of the major programs. Because the truth is, you didn't fail. The program failed you! And that will always be the case with programs that fail to get to the causation of fat storage. We teach our bodies how to store fat, and we can also teach them not to store fat by taking the proper steps.”

As for specifics do's and don'ts:

¶ You can approximate a good fat-loss program over the holidays by eating quality protein snacks in between meals and through portion control of said snacks.

¶ Don't try to compensate for a pig-out by starving yourself the next day, because that will dehydrate you and throw you into starvation mode and cause the body to store fat.

¶ Similarly, do not skip meals even if you are not hungry! Why train your body to store fat!

¶ Buy your food on the perimeter of the food store and watch your body thank you!

¶ Space out your meals and make them smaller overall....put your dinner on a smaller plate, for example.

¶ Drink an 8 ounce glass of water before you eat major holiday meals.

¶ Remember, though: Although water is great for you, it also flushes your body. If you are drinking constantly and urinating constantly you are purging helpful trace minerals by flooding your body.

¶ Post positive thoughts on your bathroom mirror because your mind is your first line of defense against not just weight gain, but any of life's challenges!”

Dr Rodriguez even has tips for husbands or wives of holiday over-eaters:
¶ If you're the partner of someone with a weight problem who goes a little crazy over the holidays, don't be harsh, judgmental or sarcastic. People often feel bad enough about their eating; they don't want to feel that their partners are disgusted with them too. Empathy is critical in successful fat loss.

Above all, he says, “People who 'slip' can take comfort in the fact that no matter what happens over the holidays, the technology and wisdom now exists to help you lose your holiday weight in a month or so.”
