Packaging Innovations by Sliding Edge

BALTIMORE - Nov. 15, 2015 - PRLog -- In making Sliding Edge, we answered the question of how might we come up with innovative solution to solve the lost cap/broken flip top products for toothpaste, lotion, medical creams, baby creams, etc. that everyone uses on a daily basis.   I always found it difficult to handle conventional caps while concurrently handling other things which is handy for nurse and parents.

There is a large portion of the population that has hand dexterity issues from arthritis, multiple sclerosis, etc. (19.7% of the population) and 118 million people over the age of 55 with possible dexterity issues who would benefit from the Sliding Edge closure.   In addition, with lost screw-caps or flip-top lids, the substance seems to end up on the counter, which is both wasteful and messy.  The Sliding Edge mechanism has widespread application to other product packaging, including but not limited to makeup, cleaners, wipes, alcohol, etc.  The Sliding Edge is a one hand closure that saves time and money.
