Live Music Takes Center Stage Saturday of Fall AutoFest Weekend

LAKELAND, Fla. - Sept. 21, 2015 - PRLog -- Cars, boats, airplanes, special guests and more; Fall Florida AutoFest at Lakeland’s SUN ‘n FUN complex is shaping up to be central Florida’s biggest and best automotive and entertainment based weekend.  Produced by Carlisle Events and Carlisle Auctions, Fall Florida AutoFest is a family friendly event that embraces all things automotive and pays homage to the aeronautical history of the SUN ‘n FUN complex.  In addition to all the “things that go varoom,” Carlisle Events is pleased to announce live music on Saturday in the form of the Hoyt Hughes Band.

The band plays a FREE show from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. near Hanger E and the car show area.  Along with them, an opening act (TBD) will play from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.  This set by Hoyt Hughes and his band is the perfect complement to the car show and adds to the ambiance of Fall Florida AutoFest itself.  Based in Lakeland, the band has been playing the region together since 2012 and is currently signed to Blue Bolt Records.  Their music elicits a good time feeling and that can best be highlighted with their latest single Stomp On; which they’ll no doubt play in just under two months.

Stomp On is the perfect vehicle to showcase what their music is all about. Produced by music industry veteran Ray Barnette, the synergy between Ray, Hoyt and the band in the studio is amazing and the resulting record is truly magic.  This is a song that is exemplary of the band’s musical heritage, a rowdy rockin’ country southern anthem to partying and having a good time at all times.

“While the automotive action is entertainment in and of itself, we wanted to be sure that along with the revving of the engines, our guests could tap their toes and stomp their feet too,” noted event manager Jim Brady.  “I’ve had the chance to see the Hoyt Hughes Band live and while I don’t consider myself a fan of country music, they left me wanting more,” continued Brady.  “If they can make me want to cut a rug with their infectious music, I think they’ll do the same for our guests at Fall Florida AutoFest in November.”
