Ghost Tour Company gears up for bike race visitors by adding additional tours

RICHMOND, Va. - Sept. 8, 2015 - PRLog -- RICHMOND, VA – September 09, 2015 -  Eerie Nights Ghost Tour, which has been conducting walking and trolley ghost tours in the city for seven years, is hopeful that tourists during the UCI bike race will be looking for fun evening activities in the city after each racing day is done. The company, which usually offers tours on Friday and Saturday evenings June through October, will be operating its walking tour every evening of the race from September 19^th – 27^th.  As many businesses in the city are shifting their operations to work around the race, the owners of the tour company are optimistic about what hosting an event on the scale of the UCI Worlds will bring.

Owner Paige Hones states: “I think that the race is going to bring a lot of attention to the city. We have grown as a destination over the past several years and we have seen that reflected in the guests that attend our tours. We just think it will be a great time for locals and visitors alike to enjoy the city and what better way than take a stroll with a group of friends and visitors from all over the world, all enjoying this great city and learning about its history in a fun, spooky, and theatrical way.”

Company representatives say that they have been planning for their operations during the race for the past year and released their full touring schedule for UCI to the public last month. They say they are looking forward to watching the race themselves and meeting all of the visitors who will arrive throughout the week.
