Mariposa Women & Family Center partners with Clothes for the Cause

ORANGE, Calif. - Aug. 29, 2015 - PRLog -- Mariposa Women & Family Center partners with Clothes for the Cause, a fundraising company that collects clothes in exchange for cash, for an event to raise money for victims of domestic violence and child abuse. Mariposa Women & Family Center is hosting the clothing and textile drive, accepting clothing and shoes of any kind, in any condition. Following the clothing drive, Clothes for the Cause will pick up the donations and provide Mariposa Center with the total of their fundraising effort, measured in dollars per pound.

Mariposa Women & Family Center provides individual and group counseling to victims of child abuse, domestic violence, anger management, depression and anxiety.

“We are thrilled to be able to help Mariposa Women & Family Center in its time of need,” said Marie Faris. “Clothes for the Cause and Mariposa Center make it easy for everyone in our community to contribute by collecting things, free of charge, that our friends, family and neighbors already have in their houses.”

The drop-off location is located at 812 W. Town & Country Rd., Building C, Orange, CA  92868.  In addition to garments, Clothes for the Cause accepts pairs of shoes, hats, gloves, towels, sheets, blankets, quilts, drapery, purses, belts, rugs and stuffed animals.
