Appsecco, the application security company, to be launched in the UK, USA and India

LONDON - Aug. 24, 2015 - PRLog -- Appsecco, a new application security company, will launch in the UK, USA and India in September 2015 to address the immediate and constantly expanding demand for specialised application security consulting.

As the world moves more and more information online, the volume of code being developed is growing at an ever increasing rate to keep pace. Yet despite this growth, it has been reported that developers continue to make exactly the same mistakes that were identified when the web was in its infancy. It is imperative that companies and organisations work to secure their websites, online databases, and online customer systems and yet it can be hard to find the right people to help them do this, who understand the competing pressures of commercial needs and web application vulnerabilities.

Appsecco’s aim is to be the people that companies can talk to for pragmatic, objective and understandable advice in the fields of web application security, mobile application security and application software security, across the globe. Bringing together the expertise of three founders: the co-founder of Kieon, a global web application development specialist, recently sold to Communisis plc, one of the UK’s most established marketing services companies; the head of the Bangalore chapter of OWASP, the global organisation responsible for defining standards for web application security; and a software expert with decades of experience in developing and managing secure banking and financial services systems, Appsecco has unrivalled access to an impressive wealth of skills and knowledge in its field.

Whilst the company hopes to work across many different sectors in the long term, its initial targets will be in the private equity, FinTech and marketing and communications sectors where the greatest need has been identified for cutting edge security management and advice grounded in commercial reality.

Opening their first offices in London (UK), Boston (USA) and Bangalore (India), Appsecco will offer IT security solutions such as application security testing and sanity checks, incident responses, and on-going monitoring and security training to these three markets from the outset, with the goal to expand into other regions, including Doha (Qatar), by the end of 2015.
