PRLog -- Santa Barbara Rock Gym will be celebrating their third anniversary on August 28th with a members only party, featuring a BBQ, headlamp climbing, and climbing gear garage sale to benefit the Access Fund. Since their Grand Opening they have experienced tremendous growth, and provided a home for Santa Barbara Climbing enthusiasts and casual climbers alike. Owner Will Russ said, “We’ve been amazed at how the local climbing community has embraced our gym, as well as the number of new climbers who come in and want to learn. Watching people fall in love with climbing for the first time has been the most rewarding part of my job for the last few years.” Santa Barbara Rock Gym focuses many of their classes on teaching new climbers correct techniques and safety precautions. By providing a solid foundation for each of their members, they can help prevent injuries, and ensure more people are having fun. Santa Barbara Rock Gym is the first and only indoor rock climbing gym in Santa Barbara. It is a state of the art facility on State St. designed to meet the needs of beginning as well as advanced climbers. SB Rock Gym's guides have over 15 combined years of guiding experience and create unique individual climbing adventures for any client.

Santa Barbara Rock Gym owner and founder, Will Russ, graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography in 2007. Santa Barbara Rock Gym services include group events, birthday parties, team building, summer camp programs, beginner’s courses, advanced courses climbing teams, and outdoor climbing.
