Camacol’s Annual Domino Tournament Promotes Relationship Building Amongst Hispanic Community

MIAMI - Aug. 11, 2015 - PRLog -- Almost one hundred people attended the CAMACOL Annual Domino Tournament that took place on Saturday, August 1st at Marlins Park. The event featured a day of family fun with the tournament, all-you-can-eat food, Bacardi drinks and the Marlins v. Padres game included with each ticket.

“Our goal in the coming year is to raise awareness of CAMACOL, the benefits of membership in terms of networking for international business and trade and our commitment to the local community through events like the domino tournament and the traditional annual holiday food drive,” said Mario Gutierrez, President of CAMACOL.

The first-place winners, Giorge Gonzalez and Leonardo Verdial from Navarro Discount Pharmacy, received gift certificates for brunch at the Biltmore Hotel. Second place winners Dr. Michael Alcantara and Jennifer Alcantara received gift certificates for Rancho Luna Restaurant. All four tournament winners also won trophies, a photograph taken at centerfield in the Marlins Stadium and were interviewed by CAMACOL’s television program. The interviews will air on Azteca America on Sunday, August 9, at 10:30 a.m. “We are truly thankful to all our sponsors and partners especially the Miami Marlins, for helping us make this event a great success,” said Betty Gradera, Corporate Relations and Events Manager of CAMACOL.

“The annual domino tournament is a great way to build relationships in the Hispanic business community and promote Miami as the gateway to Latin America,” Commissioner Wifredo “Willy” Gort, added.
