Diamonds at the Diamond Gala Supports Breast Cancer Patients in Colorado

DENVER - Aug. 4, 2015 - PRLog -- Sense of Security (http://www.senseofsecurity.org/), a 501 (c) 3 Colorado-based non-profit organization, provides sustained financial assistance to breast cancer patients for all non medical financial needs, fostering peace of mind so that Coloradans in treatment can focus on rest and recovery.

The Diamonds at the Diamond Gala celebrates Sense of Security’s 15^th anniversary and will help raise much needed funds for breast cancer patients receiving medical treatment. The public is welcome to attend this signature gala and can expect an evening of entertainment, live and silent auctions, diamond raffle, and a seated dinner. VIP ticket holders will experience an additional cocktail party on the warning track of Coors Field prior to the main dinner event.

Sense of Security has provided over $1.6 million in financial assistance to more than 1,200 breast cancer patients in Colorado for monthly bills such as rent, mortgage, utilities, groceries, transportation, insurance premiums, and other basic household expense. Many breast cancer patients are forced to stop work due to their illness, while others must take a leave of absence. This lack of income creates devastating consequences to household finances and Sense of Security was founded to help ease the financial burden.
