ProEx Physical Therapy offers employees Fellowship Training in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy at BU

BOSTON - July 14, 2015 - PRLog -- ProEx, a physical therapist owned private practice specializing in orthopedics, spine and sports medicine is collaborating with Boston University to offer all staff physical therapists advanced training through the Boston University Fellowship in Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy.

The unique fellowship program, approximately one year in duration, develops expert practitioners in orthopaedic manual physical therapy to further prepare them to serve as direct access providers in the outpatient orthopedic setting. Fellows have the opportunity to improve their clinical skills and develop advanced proficiencies in manual therapy, exercise prescription, communication and differential diagnosis to enhance their clinical reasoning and decision making in case management.

The Fellowship Program is facilitated at BU’s newly renovated and state of the art clinical laboratory located at the College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences and utilizes the most recent technology to optimize the   learning environment.   Clinical mentoring will take place at the recently renovated 8,300 square foot Ryan Center for Sports Medicine and Rehab and various locations of ProEx Physical Therapy’s 13 clinic network. ProEx will send more than 30 physical therapists through this Fellowship over the next three years.
